Health Guaranree
To ensure your puppy is free of infectious disease for a period of 3 days (specifically Distemper and Rabies), please note that no other infectious diseases or viruses are covered under this agreement.
The buyer must have the puppy examined by their veterinarian within 48 hours at their own expense; failure to do so will void the guarantee. This guarantee excludes hernias of any type, undescended testicles, reproductive issues, as well as considerations of size, color, or temperament.
The guarantee becomes void if the puppy is sold or transferred to a new owner. Under no circumstances will the purchase price be refunded. The breeder reserves the right to replace any puppy within one year if circumstances justify a replacement, such as the discovery of a serious life-threatening genetic defect. Replacement will be provided by the breeder if the puppy does not comply with the conditions outlined in this contract. The timing and selection of the replacement are at the breeder’s discretion, but will be conducted reasonably.
The puppy that needs to be replaced must be returned to the breeder, along with medical records and findings from the buyer’s veterinarian for evaluation prior to receiving a replacement. The replacement puppy will be of comparable quality unless the buyer agrees to pay the difference in price.
If health concerns arise regarding the puppy, the buyer agrees to have it examined by a veterinarian chosen by the seller, at the buyer’s expense. Both the buyer and seller will accept the veterinarian’s diagnosis. In any replacement case, registration papers must be transferred to the breeder, and the puppy must be returned before a replacement is issued, or proof from a veterinarian confirming the puppy was euthanized at the buyer’s expense must be provided.
The seller will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the buyer under any circumstances. Loose stools or Coccidia may develop due to stress and can occur quickly during transport; this does not reflect poor breeding practices. We recommend having a stool sample analyzed within 48 hours of the puppy’s arrival at its new home to ensure there are no internal parasites.
Consequently, all Shih Tzu puppies going to new homes must have a stool sample analyzed by the buyer’s veterinarian to verify that the puppy has not developed any such issues. If any problems do arise, the buyer is fully responsible for the puppy’s care, and the breeder cannot be held liable in any way.
The breeder has administered a basic deworming treatment recommended by the veterinarian and cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise after the puppy is delivered to the buyer. This guarantee does not cover internal or external parasites.
